Best Cream Cheese For Turtle Cheesecake

I always recommend using full-fat cream cheese when making cheesecake. It’s important to use a high-quality cream cheese so that your cheesecake is nice and creamy.

I also recommend using block cream cheese instead of the spreadable kind in a tub. Block cream cheese has less water content and will result in a richer and more flavorful cheesecake.

I Don’t Have Any Pecans, Can I Use Something Else?

You can certainly use other types of nuts such as walnuts, almonds, or pistachios. Just make sure to toast them for a few minutes before adding them to your cheesecake. You can also use crushed graham crackers, coconut flakes or mini chocolate chips as a topping for this delicious turtle cheesecake. Enjoy!
