How far in advance can you make pinwheels?

You can easily make these pin wheels in advance, but I’d recommend no longer than 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you’re risking the tortilla getting soggy and nobody has time for that!

How do you keep pinwheels from getting soggy?

You can prevent your pin wheels from getting soggy by putting lettuce or another type of delicious barrier in between the tortilla and the rest of the ingredients. You don’t have to do this if you’re making them to eat right away but this is something to consider if you’re going to have them be made and then set for a bit.

How long will pinwheels keep in the fridge?

As long as you’re keeping them cool and storing them in an airtight container in the fridge, they should last for 2-3 days.

Is pinwheel sandwiches hot or cold?

Pin wheels are meant to be eaten cold! They have a ton of great flavor and taste when they’re chilled and are so easy to make, too. Since this recipe is made with cream cheese, eating them chilled is creamy and delicious.

When your instant pot is finished coming to pressure, do a natural release (make sure your chicken reaches 160° temperature to ensure it is fully cooked.).

What to eat with pin wheels?

They’re really a meal on their own! If you want to have a side of chips or fresh veggies, that would balance it out quite nicely.

How to store leftovers

If you’re lucky enough to have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge! You can then pick one out and eat it every time I do when I walk by the fridge!
