  • Onion – I like to use a sweeter onion for this recipe. Just pick your favorite type and chop it up.
  • Garlic – You can mince your own garlic or cheat like I do and buy it already minced in a jar.
  • Heavy cream – Don’t skimp on this. It adds a richness and creamy texture.
  • Broccoli florets – You can buy these already chopped up in a bag as well to save on prep time.
  • Mozzarella – Adding mozzarella cheese is the perfect flavor.

How To Make Creamy Broccoli Bacon?

Step One: Cook Bacon

Cook the bacon in a skillet until it’s done. Take out the bacon and let the grease drain on a paper towel.

Step Two: Cook Onion

Add the chopped onion to the skillet, using the remaining bacon grease to cook it, and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Step Three: Add Florets

Put the florets in the skillet and let it cook for about 3 minutes. It should be bright green in color.

Step Four: Add Garlic

Add in the garlic and stir.

Pour the cream into the skillet and reduce the heat to low to allow the cream to thicken, which should take about 3-4 minutes.

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 5 tbsp garlic, minced (I cheat and buy the minced garlic in a jar!)
  • 1 ½ C heavy cream
  • 1 pound broccoli florets
  • 1 c mozzarella, shredded
