Best Oil For Sweet Potatoes Cooked In Air Fryers

I like to use olive oil or avocado oil when I cook sweet potatoes in the air fryer.

Avocado oil has a high smoke point and can withstand the high heat of the air fryer without burning. Avocado oil is also a healthy oil that is packed with nutrients.

You could also use olive oil, coconut oil, or any other oil that you like. Just make sure to choose an oil with a high smoke point so it doesn’t burn in the air fryer.

How Long To Cook Sweet Potatoes In The Air Fryer?

The cooking time for air fryer sweet potatoes will vary depending on the size and type of sweet potato that you are using.

I like to use small to medium-sized sweet potatoes for this recipe. They cook faster and tend to be more uniform in size, which helps them cook evenly.

For small to medium-sized sweet potatoes, I recommend cooking them at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes.

If you are using large sweet potatoes, you may need to increase the cooking time to 25-30 minutes.

You will know they are done when they are fork-tender and slightly crispy on the outside.
