How to Make Homemade Chicken Broth in the Instant Pot?
Line the inner pot of Instant Pot with chicken wings.

Add all vegetables (carrots, celery, onion and garlic).

Pour water into inner pot.
Add bay leaf, black pepper and salt.

Add lid to Instant pot and set on manual high pressure for 45 minutes.

Allow for a 30 min NPR.
Once time is up, remove lid.
Remove inner pot from Instant Pot and drain into a large bowl.

Use a ladle to add broth into mason jars. Allow to cool before capping and refrigerating.

The great thing about making homemade instant pot chicken broth is that you will have enough to store for a later date. Here’s how to store your chicken broth:
- In the refrigerator: Homemade chicken broth can be stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days. Place in a container with a lid.
- In the Freezer: You can store stock in the freezer for 6-9 months. Store it in ice cube trays, glass jars with straight sides, or in freezer bags. Do not fill any container completely full.

Ingredients
- 5-7 chicken wings
- 3 small carrots, peeled and halved
- 2 stalks celery, cut into large chunks
- 1 large onion, quartered
- 1 head garlic, peeled
- 8 cups water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp whole black pepper
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions
Line the inner pot of Instant Pot with chicken wings. Add all vegetables (carrots, celery, onion and garlic). Pour water into inner pot. Then add bay leaf, black pepper and salt. Add lid to Instant pot and set on manual high pressure for 45 minutes.
Allow for a 30 min Natural Pressure Release. Once time is up, remove lid. Remove inner pot from Instant Pot and drain into a large bowl.
