  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup hot buffalo sauce + ½ cup water 
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese (OPTIONAL)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion (OPTIONAL)

Step 1: Prep your Instant Pot

Turn on the Instant pot and select the Sauté button.

Step 2: Combine the Chicken Breasts and Water

Place frozen chicken breast in the pot, add hot sauce and water, and give it a mix.

Cancel the sauté button. Select the PRESSURE COOK button on HIGH PRESSURE for 15 minutes. (Make sure the valve is in the SEALING position).

Once the pressure-cooking cycle is over. Allow pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes then quick release pressure by manually moving the valve from the SEALING to the VENTING position.

Select the CANCEL button and take the lid off carefully. Remove chicken pieces, shred and set aside.

Step 6: Add the Cheese

Select the sauté button, and add cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and ranch dressing.

Step 7: Combine and Let Simmer

Return the shredded chicken back to the pot and stir to mix well, Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes (until the cream cheese melts completely)

Step 8: Top with Some more Cheese
