Here are the ingredients you will need for these making Lobster Tail Sandwiches: 

  • 4 Lobster Frozen Tails; or 1 cup frozen lobster (2 tails) and
  • 1 Cup Shrimp Or Crab Meat (cut into small pieces)
  • 1/4 Cup Of Mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley
  • 1 Tsp Salt 
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 4 Hot Dog Buns
  • 2 Tablespoons Softened Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Old Bay Seasoning (optional)

How To Cook Lobster Tail In The Instant Pot

How to cook lobster tails in the pressure cooker:

Step 1: Add Water And Seasoning To Instant Pot

Place 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot. Sprinkle in your old Bay seasoning with the water.

Step 2: Prepare Your Lobster Tails

Cut a slice down the back of your lobster tails using kitchen shears or a sharp knife. This will make opening the tail easier once cooked.

Place the trivet inside the Instant Pot, and then add your lobster tails upside down on the trivet. If you don’t have a trivet you may use a steamer basket.

Step 3: Pressure Cook Lobster Tails

Close the Instant Pot lid by twisting the lid on. Close the valve by pushing it away from you. Set your Instant Pot to high pressure for 4 minutes.

Step. 4: Quick Pressure Release

Once the cooking process is complete the Instant Pot will beep. Perform a quick release of the pressure before removing the lid.

How To Make Lobster Rolls Using Steamed Lobster Tails

A quick recipe for making Lobster mixture from your steamed Lobster

Step 1: Combine Ingredients Into Bowl

While your lobster tails are cooking, mix all of the Lobster roll ingredients in a medium bowl (mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, parsley, salt, pepper, and butter).

Step 2: Remove Lobster Rolls From Instant Pot

Remove your lobster tails from the Instant Pot with tongs and transfer to a cutting board.

Cut open the Lobster shells from the tails and remove the lobster meat.
