What Can I Use Shredded Chicken For?
Shredded chicken is honestly a very versatile dish. Once you’ve made the Instant Pot Shredded Chicken, you can add it to many dishes. One of my favorite dishes to use this shredded chicken in is salad or soup. You’ll already have the shredded chicken done and all you need to do is add it to your dish.
Cooking Chicken In The Instant Pot
I am going to show you how to make this chicken and it’ll honestly be your go to dish when you need something quick to make. You can even make tacos out of this shredded chicken if you choose to do so. Making chicken in the Instant Pot is the easiest kitchen skill you’ll ever learn.
Ingredients For Shredded Chicken
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast and thighs
- 1.5 tablespoon of your favorite rub
- 1 cup reduced sodium vegetable broth
How To Make Shredded Chicken In The Instant Pot
Mix together chicken and your rub in a bowl.
Add the vegetable broth to Instant Pot and add the chicken directly into the liquid.
Cover and seal your pot. Select Pressure Cook/Manual, set to to high pressure for 10 minutes.
Cook and then allow the pressure to release naturally.
Remove chicken from your Instant Pot onto a plate and shred using some forks.
Remove liquid from Instant Pot and add chicken back in, add some of the cooking liquid, mix and serve.
