To make these Vampire Halloween Pretzels you will need the following ingredients: The recipe is super easy and really fun to decorate.

  • 30 pieces pretzels
  • 60 candy eyes
  • 60 pieces candy corn
  • 1 bag orange candy melts

Equipment For Melting Chocolate

You might also want to use a Wilton Chocolate Melting Pot for melting the orange candy melts.

The other option is to melt the candy melts on the stovetop or pop a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave and melt in 10 second increments. Continue stirring the chocolate melts until the chocolate is in liquid form.

What Is The Best Way To Thin Chocolate?

If your chocolate becomes too thick, you can thin it by adding a small amount of vegetable oil or Coconut oil.

How To Make Halloween Chocolate Pretzels

Melt chocolate (the orange candy melts) in your melting pot.

Using a skewer dip the pretzels into the candy melts and then place on parchment paper or freezer paper with the shiny side up.

Before the chocolate has set, add two candy eyes to each pretzel.

Add The Vampire Fangs

Add two candy corn pieces for each Vampire fang. I cut the top off the candy corn to fit the size pretzels I used.

If the pretzels you are using are larger you may not have to cut the candy corn.

You can serve these Halloween pretzels as a snack, as part of a Halloween party spread, or as a treat for trick-or-treaters.

Can I Use Different Colored Chocolate?

You could also try using different colored candy melts and candies to make other Halloween-themed chocolate pretzels, for example:

You can make melted white chocolate ghosts, mummy pretzels and skeleton pretzels.

To make Frankenstein pretzels and zombie pretzels, use green candy melts and Halloween-themed candies or sprinkles. You can also make witch fingers using green candy melts and pretzel rods.
