These Frankenstein Kiwi Fruit Halloween Snacks combine kiwi slices with fun toppings for a monstrously delightful treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 kiwi
  • 16 pretzel sticks
  • 16 mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Slice one end off the kiwi so the kiwi sits upright.
  • Peel the fuzzy skin around the kiwi but leave bits of skin at the top of the kiwi to create a spooky, messy hairdo.
  • Place two chocolate chips into the kiwi as eyes, or melt chocolate chips and use the melted chocolate to create eyes using a thin skewer. (These candy eyes are edible.)
  • Break a pretzel stick into a small piece and gently push it into the kiwi to make a mouth.
  • Break a pretzel in half and gently press each half at the side of the kiwi to make hands.
  • Your super cute Kiwi Frankensteins are now complete! Serve this monstrously fun treat on their own or add to your Halloween fruit tray.

Notes

  • Choose kiwis that are firm, not too ripe, to make carving and shaping into Frankenstein faces easier and more effective.
  • Keep the kiwis chilled until serving time to maintain the freshness of the fruit and prevent the chocolate decorations from melting.
