How To Make Instant Pot Shrimp Deviled Eggs?

Step One: Prep Ingredients

On the chopping board prepare the celery and precooked shrimp.

Step Two: Prepare Instant Pot

Add water into the Instant Pot and place a basket in.

Step Three: Cook Eggs

Place the large eggs in the Instant Pot, close the lid, and set to sealing. Pressure Cook for 5 minutes.

Step Four: Quick Release

Once the pressure cooking time is complete, set the pot to quick release. Once the pressure valve drops, remove the eggs and immediately place in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking for 2 minutes.

Step Five: Peel and Halve Eggs

Peel eggs, and cut in half lengthwise. Discard shells.

Step Six: Mash Yolks

Scoop the egg yolk into a medium bowl and mash with a fork and set the egg white halves aside.

Step Seven: Chop Shrimp and Celery

Chop the shrimp and celery into small pieces.

Step Eight: Mix Filling

Add the chopped shrimp and finely chopped celery into the mixing bowl. Then add the remaining ingredients except for paprika. Use the fork to mix all of the ingredients together until creamy.

Step Nine: Fill Egg Whites

Place the yolk mixture into a ziploc bag and snip a corner (small snip towards the end, just to create an opening the size of a pencil eraser tip). Gently fill each cavity of the egg whites.

Step Ten: Garnish and Serve

Garnish shrimp deviled eggs with paprika and fresh chives. Your eggs are now ready to serve.

This is a basic and delicious Shrimp Deviled Eggs recipe that is super simple to follow

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • ½ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon of cocktail sauce
  • 3 inches of celery, minced
  • 6 cooked medium shrimp, tails off and deveined, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon of old bay
  • paprika to garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the celery and shrimp on the chopping board.  Into the Instant Pot add water and place a basket in.
  2. Add eggs, close lid, set to sealing. Set high pressure timer for 5 minutes. Once 5 minutes are done, set to quick release. Once pressure valve drops, remove eggs and immediately place in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking for 2 minutes.
  3. Peel eggs, and cut in half long lengthwise. Discard shells. Place yolk in a medium bowl and mash with a fork.
  4. Chop the shrimp and celery into small pieces. To the bowl with the yolk, add in the remaining ingredients, except for paprika. Use the fork to mix all of the ingredients together until creamy.
  5. Place the yolk mixture into a ziploc bag and snip a corner (small snip towards the end, just to create an opening the size of a pencil eraser tip).
  6. Gently fill each cavity of the egg whites. Garnish with paprika and serve.
