How Much Chili Powder in Chili?
Now that you know how to make your own chili powder, you might be wondering how much of it you should use in your chili recipe.
How much chili seasoning depends on how spicy you like your chili. For a milder chili, I would recommend using 1-2 tablespoons of chili powder. If you like things a little spicier, you can add up to 4 tablespoons.
How many tablespoons or teaspoons depends on how hot you like your chili.
If you’re not sure how much chili powder to use, it’s always better to start with less and then add more, rather than adding too much from the start. You can always add more, but you can’t take away once it’s in there!
