For this recipe we use a silicone egg bite molds, however, if you don’t have an egg bite mold, you can improvise by using silicone muffin liners, small mason jars, or even ramekins placed on the trivet inside the Instant Pot.

Do I Keep The Lid On The Egg Mold?

You do not have to keep the lid on the egg mold when cooking Instant Pot Egg Bites. You can cover the egg mold with the lid or aluminum foil to prevent water from dripping onto the egg bites during the cooking process but we do not use a lid in our recipe.
