Is Pasta Healthy to Eat?
Pasta is a healthy food when eaten in moderation and with the right foods. Pasta can be part of a healthy diet and whole grain pasta is better than white, however both are high in fiber and nutrients.
When eating pasta, it’s always great to think about the toppings. Adding a healthy home made sauce is going to be much better than a shop bought sauce. However you can use either and add healthy and nutritious vegetables to the mix to bulk out your meal.
I tend to add beans to several of my pasta dishes to add protein which is more filling and we always have a side salad.
So long as you eat in moderation and think carefully about the way you cook your pasta meals, it can be a great food source for the whole family and of course having a tasty indulgent creamy pasta from time to time is not going to hurt when eaten alongside a healthy diet.
