How to Cook Instant Pot Lo Mein
Whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always order the Lo Mein instead of the rice. There is just something about the noodles that brings the whole meal together. With that being said, now I don’t have to go out to have Lo Mein. This Instant Pot Lo Mein recipe allows me to have Chinese take-out without spending restaurant prices. In fact, I can use my Instant Pot to make all my favorite Chinese dishes right at home.

Instant Pot Chicken Lo Mein Cooking Times
Serves: 6 servings
Prep: 20 Minutes
Cook: 15 Minutes
Total: 35 Minutes
Ingredients FOR CHINESE LO MEIN
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 medium-sized boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced or quartered
- 4 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 lb fettuccine, broken in half
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 cup carrot matchsticks
- 1 cup snow peas
- ½ cup shredded cabbage
How to Make Instant Pot Lo Mein
Add sesame oil, chicken, mushrooms, garlic, chicken broth, soy sauce,
hoisin sauce and fettuccine Instant Pot in that order.
Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes and then do a quick release of the pressure.
Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl then pour into cooked noodles.
Break up noodles and toss to combine.
Add in carrot matchsticks, cabbage and snow peas, gently mixing to combine.
Replace lid and let sit for 5-10 minutes.

This Instant Pot Recipe will convince you not to go to Chinese restaurant and order a to-do Lo Mein dish.
Ingredients

I don’t see where the cabbage is added in your lo mein recipe??!!

I was wondering when adding the carrots, cabage and snow peas, I put back the lid, but do I cook pressure for 5-10 minutes in order for the veggies to cook?

The veggies should steam cook if you place the lid back on for five minutes without the need for pressure cooking. However if you wish you can re-pressure for 2 minutes and that will work too.
