What is Thai STeak?
Thai Steak is a delicious flavoured meat made when you combine a blend of Thai flavours to create a marinade for your flank steak or stew meat. Thai steak generally has a sweet taste and goes well with rice or noodles.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR tHAI STEAK AND NOODLES
- 1 lb beef stew meat, thinly sliced
- 2 cups halved mushrooms
- 2 cups sliced tofu
- 2 cup fresh snow peas
- 1 white onion, thinly sliced
- ½ Thai Basil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp. Minced garlic
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. Sweet Chili sauce
- 2 tbsp. Rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 package of Hokkien Noodles
- Thai Basil for garnish
HOW TO MAKE INSTANT POT THAI STEAK AND NOODLES
Set your Instant Pot to the sauté setting.
Season the stew meat with salt and black pepper.
When the Instant pot is hot, add the sesame oil and beef.
Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the meat is browned on all sides.
Add your onions, and mushrooms continue to cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
Remember to stir often.
Add the snow peas, beef broth, garlic, soy sauce, sweet chilli
sauce, brown sugar, ginger and red pepper flakes to the Instant pot.
Place the lid, lock it and set the to sealing.
Select manual setting; adjust pressure to high, and set time for 35 minutes.
Prepare your noodles as directed on the package.
After the 35 minutes is up, let it naturally release pressure for 10 minutes.
Open the Instant pot and add your tofu, replace the lid for an
additional 3 minutes on manual high.
Carefully open the vent for an immediate pressure release.
Add your cooked noodles and stir to combine.
