Pro Tips For Making Apple Stuffed Tenderloin

  • Searing For Flavor: Before cooking tenderloin it is important to sear on saute mode. Searing creates a flavorful crust, locking in juices and enhancing the overall taste of the pork tenderloin.
  • Rest Meat: Allow tenderloin to rest after removing it from heat. Resting allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and tender final product. Aim for a resting period of about 5-10 minutes before slicing or serving.

Variations

  • Classic Apple-Cinnamon Twist: Tenderloin stuffed with a mix of diced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar, creating a sweet and spiced flavor profile.
  • Savory Apple and Sage Infusion: An herby stuffing blend of diced apples, sage, and breadcrumbs adds a savory element to the tenderloin, balancing sweetness with a touch of earthiness.
  • Garlic Powder and Herb Delight: A stuffing mix of diced apples seasoned with garlic powder and aromatic herbs, creating a savory and flavorful alternative to the traditional sweet stuffing.
  • Brie and Cranberry Elegance: Elevate the dish with a stuffing of Brie cheese and dried cranberries, adding a creamy and tangy burst to each slice of tenderloin.

Best Way To Store Pork Tenderloin

  • Fridge: Place the leftover pork tenderloin in an airtight container or plastic bag and store it in the refrigerator for up to three days.
  • Freeze: Tenderloin may also be frozen whole or cut into cubes. Wrap the tenderloin and sauce in freezer bags, pushing out as much air as possible, then freeze for 2 to 3 months.
  • Reheat: To reheat, first thaw the tenderloin in the refrigerator. Place the slices on a skillet with a lid and warm them over medium heat in the oven until heated through.
