What to serve with beef short ribs?

Beef short ribs are a great main course for dinner parties and special occasions. They’re also perfect for winter entertaining because they’re hearty and satisfying. But what to serve with beef short ribs?

Here are some ideas:

Mashed potatoes: Mashed potatoes are a classic side dish that goes well with beef short ribs. They’re rich and creamy, and they soak up all the delicious juices from the beef.

Roasted vegetables: Roasted vegetables are a great way to add some color and flavor to your meal. Try roasting carrots, parsnips, or Brussels sprouts. They’ll pair perfectly with the rich beef short ribs.

Cauliflower mashed potatoes: If you’re looking for a low-carb option, cauliflower mashed potatoes are a great choice. They have the same creamy texture as regular mashed potatoes, but they’re made with cauliflower instead of potatoes.

Green beans: Green beans are another classic side dish that goes well with beef short ribs. They’re simple and easy to prepare, and they add a pop of color to your plate.

What Kind of Meat to Use?

Beef short ribs are the perfect cut of meat for this dish because they’re full of flavor and they become very tender when cooked slowly. You can use any type of beef short rib, but we recommend using bone-in short ribs for the best flavor. If you can’t find bone-in short ribs, you can also use boneless short ribs.
