Tips for Perfect Instant Pot Steak Bites
- Choose the Right Cut: Opt for a well-marbled and tender cut, like London Broil or sirloin, for the juiciest and flavorful steak bites.
- Uniform Size for Even Cooking: Cut the steak into uniform bite-sized pieces to ensure even cooking. This prevents some pieces from being overcooked while others remain undercooked.
- Use a Natural Release: After pressure cooking, allow the Instant Pot to release pressure naturally for a few minutes. This helps the steak bites remain juicy and tender, preventing them from drying out.
- Add Vegetables Smartly: If incorporating veggies like asparagus, add them after pressure cooking or use the Instant Pot’s sauté function. This keeps them crisp and vibrant, complementing the steak bites perfectly.

Hi. I can’t wait to try the steak bites….. But my question is, I have a Farberware instant pot. Mine doesn’t say HI pressure. So how would i know how to set it
The Faberware instant pot has a high pressure mode according to the manual. Do you still have the instructions? I don’t personally have one of these brands but if you can’t find the button, i’d just cook on regular!
If you put in more than one steak, will it need to be cooked longer?
I would add an extra two minutes for an extra steak but if you’re adding a whole heap more then that would change the cooking times quite a bit.
I have a ton of stew meat I need to use up. Do you think this will work?
I haven’t tried stew meat but i’m sure it would work just the same. Give it a go.
