Salisbury Steak Instant Pot Ingredients

  • 2 cubed or Hamburg steaks or cubed steak if you prefer.
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. This gives the Salisbury steak a creamy texture and delicious flavor.
  • 10-13 baby bell mushrooms – slice the mushrooms.
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce – For a tangy sweetness.
  • 2 cups of beef broth – To add flavor and moisture to the Instant Pot Salisbury steak.
  • Salt 1/4 teaspoon – For Seasoning.
  • Pepper 1/4 teaspoon – For Seasoning.
  • Olive Oil 2 Tablespoons – For Seasoning.

How To Make Salisbury Steak In The Instant Pot

Here are the instructions for making a delicious Instant pot Salisbury steak with cream of mushroom soup.

Step One: Season the Hamburg Steaks

With this Salisbury Steak Instant Pot Recipe, it is always good to season your meat before placing them into the pressure cooker. In a large mixing bowl, mix the salt and pepper into the olive oil to create a marinade.


Step Two: Marinade the Hamburg Steaks

Using a pastry brush, spread the marinade over your ground beef patties. Once you have marinaded your Salisbury steak patties, put them on a plate and keep them to one side.

Step Three: Combine Ingredients in your Instant Pot

Pour your cream of mushroom soup into the Instant pot, followed by the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.


Step Four: Add Mushrooms To Your Salisbury Steak Recipe

Slice the baby bell mushrooms and place into the Instant Pot.

Step Five: Saute And Then Add The Hamburg Steaks

Saute the Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, broth and cream of mushroom soup in the Instant Pot for 5 minutes using the saute function.

This Instant Pot Recipe is good for people who are steak lovers.

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 7 minutes
Total Time 17 minutes


  • 2 cubed steaks
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 10-13 baby bell mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups of beef broth


  1. Combine the broth, Worcestershire, and cream of mushroom soup in the instant pot. 
  2. Toss in the steaks and the mushrooms. Close the lid and seal the pressure valve.
  3. Cook on high pressure for 7 minutes 
  4. Once finished, release the pressure valve manually and remove the lid. 
  5. Remove the steaks and serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes. 
  6. Pour gravy over steaks and side. If gravy needs thickening, stir flour or cornstarch in one tablespoon at a time until desired thickness is achieved.
